INITIAL RESEARCH

Faina in 1946 in Goias, scientific Dr.Francisco Cabral de Melo discovered that could eradicate the Mutamba plant, yellow fever virus, being a pharmacist with experience in medicine, used the substrate Mutamba in patients with yellow fever, with a cure rate of 100% of treated patients, after three days of using the extract out of the coma patients recovered completely.

DISCOVERY PERFORMED

Then a study on the virus of yellow fever developed, the yellow fever virus is a retro virus RNA with HIV-like virus structures. The research project began ten years ago, under the direction of scientific and Dr. Antonio Rodrigues Paulo Gouveia, studying Guazulma ulmifolia (Mutamba) plant by observing its peculiarities, being a medium-sized plant, typical of areas locked and transition zones to the Amazon rainforest, it was discovered that the trees in the states of Goiás and Tocantins have this special feature, shown in secondary metabolites, a tannin that is effective in detecting virus inhibitor.

By studying articles related to the tree Guazulma ulmifolia (Mutamba) similar trees in eastern Mexico south to Paraguay, only the tree has latters effectiveness of a viral inhibitor reported, yet this study, research was begun and literature review, with more emphasis on tree latters.

The October 23, 2010, the project was presented at the Seminar on AIDS research in Porto Alegre RS, began soon after that, a lot of expectation in relation to the project, it was reported in several magazines, newspapers and local television stations topic, many people took for themselves the Mutamba extract, according to the preparation and the application protocol, without toxic effects spread.

One of the laboratories that offer support in the reports and that worked was the Kyolab Laboratory, which showed great clinical improvement and weight gain of recovered patients. In 2011 again the laboratory Kyolab ltda of Campinas sp, performed in vitro tests, in June 2011, the in vitro tests were ready, resulting in an inhibition of HIV by 30 percent in initial phase, shortly after he was done another test by Dr. Amilcar Tanure at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), with a new value that gave 100% inhibition of the HIV virus without cellular cytotoxicity, the extract was purified after these results.

SCIENTIFIC CENTERS AND INSTITUTIONS INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT

Scientific institutions involved in the project were: Research Institute President Antonio Carlos Tocantinense (ITPAC) Araguaína-Tocantins, Laboratory of Campinas SP Kyolab Ltda (Kyolab.com.br), the Research Project and Seminar on HIV AIDS Porto Alegre RS and the Laboratory of Molecular Virology, Department of Genetics, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), with whom also worked permanently.

PUBLIC COMPLAINT TO THE WORLD

Currently 2014, should be reported that there is great international pressure from the global drug empire on the Mutamba project as successful and proven not wish to be known and applied massively in the population and try to close the forcibly financing. Pilot tests developed have benefited yet tens and hundreds of people, meeting and being tested in humans, which even were in a situation of critical phase, infected with HIV virus, AIDS status. The results obtained and the research team showed that the Guazulma ulmifolia, has a surprising power in the total viral inhibition of HIV virus. The project is open for contact with health organizations and institutions and governments.
